About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal with 3–5+ years of hands-on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 experience to join our rapidly growing team. This role is for someone who can hit the ground running, manage a full caseload, and work independently with minimal supervision.
The right candidate will be comfortable owning 30+ active bankruptcy cases from day one, producing accurate, error-free work, communicating directly with clients, and solving problems proactively.
Responsibilities
Prepare and file Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy petitions and schedules
Manage and maintain 30+ active bankruptcy cases
Review financial documents and analyze assets, exemptions, and potential issues
Communicate directly with clients to gather information and documentation
Prepare filings, amendments, and supporting documents
Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court requirements
Work independently to identify and resolve issues before they escalate
Maintain organized and accurate case files
Qualifications
3–5+ years of bankruptcy paralegal experience
Experience handling both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases
Strong understanding of bankruptcy forms, exemptions, assets, and case analysis
Ability to produce high-quality, error-free work
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and client service skills
Ability to problem-solve independently without constant supervision
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Experience with bankruptcy software (NextChapter, BestCase, Jubilee, etc.) required
Arizona bankruptcy experience not required, but familiarity with federal bankruptcy procedures is essential
