Involved in the day-to-day installation activity the regional team lead will provide guidance on how to deliver projects to the EOS standard. When required the regional team lead will provide the necessary training to ensure EOS standards are maintained and ensure a training program is in place to address ongoing development of the team.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Build trust between team members.Inspire and motivate teamwork for achieving goals.Influence valuable changes.Be open to new ideas coming from team members.Consult frequently with key team members.Establish an open discussion for decision-making.Distinguish the team from others – create an identity for the teamTrain new resource on EOS/client standardsParticipate in the development of the EOS/client standards providing ideas on how they can be improvedEnsures all employees receive the appropriate training and education, including ongoing compliance training.Ensures compliance with established company and regulatory guidelines and procedures to provide high quality service and outstanding customer care.Practices cost improvement strategies, maintaining profitability and growth of area.Provide support to the PMO team in the correct selection of field resource to ensure successful project deliveryImplements location-specific and area quality goals and action plans in order to achieve quality standards.Provides informal feedback on an ongoing basis and formal feedback in the annual performance evaluation process to identify and develop talent.Participate in the hiring of new field resourceEnsures all employees receive the appropriate training and education, including ongoing compliance training.ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:Must have experience leading teams of AV Technicians5 years’ experience in the field installing Audio Visual hardware on large scale projectsMust be able to read and understand plans to ensure everything is done correctlyMust be agile, and exhibit a strong sense of urgencyMust be responsive, efficient, have excellent customer interaction, and exhibit a high level of professionalismThe ideal candidate will not find difficult tech problems deterring or frustrating, but intriguing and will welcome the challengeGood organization and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple prioritiesGood written and verbal communication skillsMust have critical thinking and problem solving abilityBe flexible and adaptable to change and hours of work, to meet the needs of the customerDESIRABLE CRITERIA:Installation of Audio Visual hardware to a high standardWorked on large scale GC led projectsConfiguration of typical Audio-Visual hardware (Crestron, Biamp, QSC, Extron, Cisco, Poly (HP), Logitech, Zoom, Neat, Shure etc.)AVIXA CTS Certification is desired, with plans to complete CTS-I in the futureOSHA 30 Certificate is highly desiredSST Certificate is highly desired (New York Region)The EOS pay range for this job is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
