Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control Lead
About the RoleMcLovin’s is seeking a reliable, hands-on, and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control Lead to oversee daily warehouse execution and inventory accuracy. This role is responsible for managing receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, cycle counts, warehouse organization, and team coordination to ensure smooth, accurate, and efficient operations.The ideal candidate is operationally strong, highly organized, and comfortable leading from the front in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Core ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping. Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are processed accurately, on time, and in accordance with company procedures. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure physical inventory matches system data, including lot numbers and best-before dates. Conduct and supervise cycle counts and inventory audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly. Oversee warehouse organization, product movement, space utilization, and inventory protection. Ensure receiving and shipping photos, signed reports, and bills of lading are properly saved and submitted for internal recordkeeping. Ensure all customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped correctly and on schedule. Enforce customer routing guide requirements, internal procedures, and warehouse safety standards. Supervise warehouse staff, assign daily priorities, monitor performance, and maintain accountability for execution and results. Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and support cost control. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Criteria for the Ideal Candidate3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or distribution. Prior experience leading or supervising warehouse staff. Strong understanding of receiving, shipping, inventory control, and warehouse workflows. Experience with inventory management, ERP, or warehouse systems; Fishbowl experience is a plus. High attention to detail, especially in inventory accuracy, documentation, and shipment control. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through. Able to identify operational issues, prioritize effectively, and implement practical solutions. Comfortable managing both hands-on warehouse execution and continuous process improvement. Able to read and follow customer routing guides, standard operating procedures, and compliance requirements carefully. Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Physically able to work in a warehouse setting, including routine walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
