For an exciting opportunity to join our sales team, apply today!Why join the Accelerated Sales Program at White Cap?The Accelerated Sales Program is a comprehensive, sales-specific training program designed to fast-track the growth and development of new Outside Sales Representatives/Account Managers. Participants will work closely with White Cap sales leaders in a 6-12 month program to develop the skills, customer and supplier relationships, and knowledge needed to be successful in outside sales.An Account Manager - Accelerated Sales Program...* Participates in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn the White Cap's business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills.* Prepares and executes account plans.* Sells White Cap value proposition and products.* Learns about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers.* Enters and processes customer orders.* Performs other duties as assigned.* This position requires operation of a company vehicle or a personal vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 80% of the average work week. If selected for this position, the company will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.Preferred Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or one to two years of sales or related field experience* Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with team members* Requires strong self-governance, a proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence.* Competitive nature with a drive to succeed* Goal-oriented with personal accountability to deliver on metrics* Open to feedback and willing to take action to improve performance* Demonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activities* Spanish language proficiencyIf you're looking to play a role in building America, consider one of our open opportunities.
