As we continue to grow, we are looking to add an experienced maintenance professional to our team.Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician / Building Engineer to support our commercial properties through hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building systems. This role requires a strong working knowledge of commercial building operations, the ability to work independently, and comfort handling more complex maintenance issues.The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, safety-minded, and takes pride in providing reliable service to tenants and property owners.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled and preventative maintenance on commercial buildings, equipment, and systemsDiagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC and building systems including blower motors, furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and cooling towersPerform interior and exterior painting, patching, and finish workMonitor, manage, and adjust building equipment and building automation systemsIdentify and recommend repairs, replacements, and capital improvements to property managers and ownershipRespond to and complete work orders in a timely and professional mannerPrioritize and manage daily work scheduleMaintain and repair maintenance equipment, tools, and vehiclesCoordinate and communicate with outside vendors and contractorsProvide clear updates to property manager regarding work performed and recommendationsDeliver excellent customer service to tenants and building ownersParticipate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours calls as neededPerform other related duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of commercial building maintenance experience (additional experience strongly preferred)Solid working knowledge of HVAC systems, controls and general building operationsAbility to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues independently with minimal supervisionStrong organizational and time-management skillsValid Minnesota driver's license and ability to travel locally between propertiesAbility to lift, carry, and work with tools and equipment required for the rolePay$30.00 - $38.00 per hourBenefitsCompetitive payHealth, dental, and vision insuranceHSA accountLife insurance (employer paid and voluntary options)Short and long-term disabilityPaid time off and paid holidays401(k) with company matchCompany cell phone and company credit cardCompany vehicle, tools, equipment, uniform, and clothing allowance providedFree underground parking and onsite fitness facilityTeam outings and a supportive, professional work environmentJob Type:Full-time-In personPlease send resume to Kelly Mendez at kmendez@suntide.com
