Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer with 10–15+ years of software development experience to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Python, and AWS, along with hands-on experience with LangChain or Sierra framework. Banking/financial services experience is highly preferred.Required Qualifications10–15+ years of professional software development experience.Strong hands-on experience with Java.Strong experience with Python.Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.Experience with either LangChain or Sierra framework.Strong knowledge of system design, architecture, and design patterns.Experience developing scalable, high-performance enterprise applications.Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Ability to lead technical discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience in the banking or financial services domain.Experience with cloud-native application development.Experience working in Agile development environments.Strong communication and technical leadership skills.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Java-based applications.Develop and maintain solutions using Java, Python, and AWS.Design robust and scalable application architectures based on business and technical requirements.Leverage LangChain or Sierra for AI-enabled application development where applicable.Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams.Troubleshoot complex application and production issues.Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, security, and reliability requirements.Contribute to technical strategy, system design, and continuous improvement initiatives.
