Finance Manager - Direct ProcurementSummit, New Jersey ( Hybrid )Full TimeWhat You Will Do The Finance Manager in Direct Procurement (Source) is responsible for providing strategic and operational financial leadership to the Exernal Manufacturing organization. You will play a crucial role alongside EM category leaders in driving and capturing value and maximizing opportunities.The spend scope amounts to ~$600M annually across all Segments and this role requires both detailed analytics as well as the ability to operate with a big picture perspective to best partner with various stakeholder groups. Your ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships will be essential in driving collaboration and alignment on strategic objectives across functional and finance stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Provide financial leadership to the External Maufacturing organization; providing accurate financial analysis and insights to help identify and quantify cost optimization opportunitiesDevelop and maintain financial models to assess the financial viability of potential procurement initiatives and make recommendations to senior managementSupport the procurement goals and initiatives to improve free cash flow generation through policy proposals and identification of opportunities to address supplier payment termsBuild close partnerships with the functional finance and commercial teams to ensure there is a direct link for E2E optimization and alignment. Partcipate in tradeoff discussions and include relevant cross functional staekholders when needed.Pro-actively bring forward financial insights with an outside-in mentality; for instance what are the relevant market trends that might impact us or present opportunities; or what insight can we gather by targeted comparisons with other market leadersLead the business planning & financial update processes alongside category teams and functional finance, focused on Gross Savings opportunities, Inflation, PPV and payment terms. Drive the monthly consolidation process of actuals; highlighting critical insights and trends, articulation of size / certainty of any risk or opportunity in closing gaps to targets etc.Develop and deliver financial trainings / onboardings for our procurement business partners to elevate the financial acumen across the business, as well as pro-actively supporting the roll-out & application of the Kenvue Savings PolicyParticipate in the development and implementation of financial & procurement policies to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risksManage and coach a team of 2 - 3 finance professionals, supporting their professional growth and developmentWhat We Are Looking ForA minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably a major in Accounting or FinanceSolid finance experience across a broad range of finance functions, specially FP&A or Commercial FinanceFluency in EnglishStrong financial analysis and modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel and other financial softwareExperience with using Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau is a plusStrong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate complex concepts in order to educate and influence a broad range of business partners including senior managementLeadership qualities including the ability to motivate and manage a team; prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesAbility to work in a fast-paced and matrixed environment, managing multiple priorities with attention to detail
