We are the Pacific Northwest’s Caterpillar Dealer in delivering prime and standby electric power, marine, oil and gas, and industrial/OEM installations.About The PositionDue to the increase in demand, NC Power Systems is searching for an ideal Marine technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing CAT equipment across multiple projects.Essential DutiesRemoving, Repairing, Assembling and Installing CAT equipmentCoordinating with Parts department to order the necessary partsPlanning and organizing to assist controlling job costsQualifications & Experience NeededHigh School Diploma/GEDDegree in Diesel technology or equivalent hands on experience is requiredExperience with CAT Engines (Marine or Generator) is preferredThis role requires the ability to stand up at a minimum of eight hours a day (including twisting, bending, squatting, sitting, stooping, kneeling and lifting up to 50 pounds)Must possess basic tool setMust maintain a valid driver’s licenseWe offer a competitive benefits package that includes salary from $26.90 - $56.85 per hour, health benefits, vacation, sick leave, life insurance, 401(k) with profit sharing and company match.
