Job Title: Home Sales Consultant | Onsite-Fredericksburg| $34/HR Job DescriptionThe Home Sales Consultant guides prospective clients through the custom home building process, from initial inquiry through contract execution. This role presents home designs, features, upgrades, and financing options while delivering an exceptional customer experience that encourages referrals and repeat business. The position requires close collaboration with internal departments and lending partners, diligent use of CRM and internal tools, and strong follow-up to maximize sales opportunities and achieve high performance-based earnings.ResponsibilitiesGuide prospective clients through each step of the custom home building and sales process, from initial inquiry to contract execution.Present and explain home designs, features, upgrades, and available financing options in a clear and compelling manner.Manage a robust sales pipeline, maintaining strong follow-up with all leads and prospects to maximize conversion and closing rates.Collaborate closely with internal departments and lending partners to ensure a smooth, efficient, and transparent customer experience.Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date records in the CRM system and other internal tools.Deliver exceptional customer service that fosters referrals, repeat business, and long-term client relationships.Coordinate with designers and other internal specialists to ensure clients receive expert guidance on home design and customization.Prioritize and manage multiple clients and opportunities simultaneously while meeting or exceeding sales targets.Communicate regularly with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings to address questions, provide updates, and move deals forward.Stay informed about product offerings, pricing, and market trends to effectively position homes and options to prospective buyers.Essential Skills5+ years of successful sales experience with a strong closing record.Proven ability to guide clients through multiple steps of a structured sales process.Strong speaking and writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.Proficiency with CRM systems for tracking leads, activities, and client information.Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools.Proactive, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Additional Skills & QualificationsDemonstrated success in consultative or relationship-based sales environments.Experience working with performance-based compensation structures.Comfort presenting design options, upgrades, and financing solutions to a variety of clients.Ability to build long-term relationships that generate referrals and repeat business.Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.Interest in the homebuilding or real estate industry and an eagerness to learn product offerings and market trends.Work EnvironmentThis role follows a structured schedule, typically Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with Saturday hours from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday appointments scheduled as needed. You will work in a professional sales environment, collaborating with a supportive team of experienced industry professionals, designers, and lending partners. The company provides generated leads and professional design support, enabling you to focus on relationship-building and closing sales.
