Appliance Delivery and Installation Helper

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Appliance Delivery and Installation Helper, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their appliances safely, efficiently, and with exceptional service. All positions are paid, and you'll be an essential part of a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Duties Assist delivery drivers in safely transporting appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens to customer locations. Help with unloading appliances from trucks using appropriate equipment like hand trucks and ladders. Support the installation process by preparing work areas, connecting plumbing and electrical components, and assembling appliances as needed. Follow schematics and technical instructions to ensure proper setup of appliances according to manufacturer specifications. Use power tools and hand tools to perform minor repairs or adjustments during installation or maintenance. Conduct basic troubleshooting for appliance issues related to refrigeration, electrical systems, or mechanical components. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Skills Knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring, plumbing connections, and mechanical systems related to appliances. Experience with ladder use for reaching high areas safely during installations or repairs. Familiarity with refrigeration systems, HVAC principles, and appliance repair techniques. Mechanical knowledge including assembly, equipment repair, and maintenance of appliances. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively for installation or minor repairs. Customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during delivery and setup. Experience working with box trucks or similar delivery vehicles in a field service environment. Strong understanding of service technician procedures including troubleshooting and repair diagnostics. Extra Weekly performance and production bonus offered.
