Maintenance TechnicianAdler Pelzer Group - a growing global Tier One supplier of Acoustic and Soft Trim products to the automotive industry is seeking a strong and motivated Maintenance Technician for the manufacturing operations in Thomson, GA. Located just outside Augusta and minutes from Fort Eisenhower (formerly Fort Gordon).**$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS**The Maintenance Technician participates in activities concerned with the design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery in manufacturing so that throughput, inventory, and operating expense objectives are achieved. Inspects and repairs machinery and equipment based on operating parameters, according to engineering principles and safety regulations.The following are the major duties and responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:Analyzes mechanical, electrical, and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action to maintain maximum production and quality.Reading and comprehension of Electrical schematics.Tests newly installed or refurbished equipment to ensure fulfillment to specification and safety.Immediately respond to maintenance issues when production has stopped due to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic problems.Performs preventive maintenance on equipment to reduce downtime.Maintain and monitor inventory of maintenance equipment and parts. Order new parts as necessary.Install and maintain program modifications for all machines.Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager for the installation and removal of equipment.Complete purchase order requisitions for all purchased goods, equipment, or services.Will be required to work necessary overtime and have shift flexibilityNote: This section is not inclusive.
