With a strong reputation for innovation, operational agility, and speed-to-market, this company partners with a diverse client base to deliver customized solutions at scale.Position SummaryThe Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure financial records are maintained in accordance with company policies and GAAP. This role works closely with the Plant Controller and will have a strong focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and reconciliations, with exposure to broader accounting functions including month-end close.This is a highly visible role within a manufacturing environment, offering the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and support operational decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including support for revenue recognition Process and record AP transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaid amortizations, and reclassifications Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations Review and analyze financial data, identifying and resolving discrepancies Assist with month-end close and ensure deadlines are met Support audit requests and maintain accurate, organized documentation Monitor and support compliance related to sales tax, 1099s, and licensing requirements Conduct general ledger account analysis and maintain supporting schedules Partner cross-functionally with operations and finance to ensure accurate financial reporting Contribute to process improvements and increased efficiencies within accounting workflows QualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 3+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles Experience with ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization Highly organized with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindsetLegado Talent provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
