Programmer Analyst -SQL

Job Title: Programmer Analyst -SQL Location: Indianapolis, IN Duration: 6+ Months ** Candidate must be currently located in Indiana to be considered for this position** Job Description: Resource will be responsible for the activities of an Applications Systems Analyst/Programmer of Master Data Management team of State of Indiana's child welfare system, which is built on a PostgreSQL/Ruby on Rails/SQL Server/ASP .Net platform. Responsibilities of this role will include:Design and develop interactive and dynamic reports for business intelligence.Maintenance and Operations on current reports which may require modifications.Work on Integration of data from various sources into a unified system.Assist in design and implementation of Master Data Management solutions.Proactive in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and data quality issues.Adhere to SQL Development best practices.Meet project deadlines and requirements while working in an independent and remote role.Communicate progress, needs, and planning with supervisors on a weekly basis, or as requested.Perform other related duties as assigned. Skills:Information Technology ExperienceData Analytics and ReportingExperience in Postgres SQLStrong programming skills in languages like T-SQL, PL/pgSQL or other relevant languagesExperience with data migration, ETL processes and data transformation using SSISMaster Data ManagementMicrosoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)Knowledge of reports deployment, scheduling and security in SSRSAtlassian ToolsExperience with databases design, schema creation and maintenance (nice to have)Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) including the lastest versions (nice to have)Knowledge of Tableau and Power BI (nice to have)
