Mesa HR AssistantThe HR Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to the human resource department. The individual in this role may be involved in: recruitment, payroll administration and any other area of human resources.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Support for the recruiting process (e.g., schedule interviews, sending background checks, attending job fairs/recruitment events as needed, drug tests and contacting select candidates)
Coordination of the new hire orientation process (e.g., scheduling the orientation, preparing orientation paperwork, and creating the employee files), including I-9 completion/compliance
Maintenance of personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements
Support on auditing, review and processing the paperwork and forms
Participation in special projects and initiatives, to include engagement, job fairs and HR Assessments
Support of company Open Enrollment period to ensure smooth processing
Support of Payroll processing
Other duties may include:
Work overtime as dictated by business whether mandatory or voluntary
Perform other duties as assigned
Supervisory responsibilities include none.
Skills and abilities:
Highschool diploma or GED required
1 year of Human Resources/payroll/clerical experience preferred
