Full Job Description Car Detailer duties and responsibilities Car Detailers improve a vehicle’s cleanliness and appearance. Duties and responsibilities in an Auto Detail job description may include: Discussing concerns and preferences with customers Inspecting vehicles for areas that need to be addressed Cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles using specialty tools, such as vacuums, buffers and steamers Applying protective and restorative products to surfaces Responding to calls, inquiries and questions about the detailing process Driving vehicles to position them in the shop and return them to customers Correcting minor blemishes, such as scratches and upholstery stains QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent communication skills (including listening, speaking). Ability to read, speak and understand English. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Ability to multi-task. Ability to work alone, self motivate and manage one’s own time. Team player with a positive attitude Organized and extremely detail-oriented Ability to prioritize Deadline-oriented Must have a Valid Driver's License Hourly rate determined by experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Ability to Commute: Claysburg, PA 16625 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Claysburg, PA 16625: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
