Sample Preparatory Technician

Job Title: Sample Preparatory Technician Location: Arvada, CO (Onsite) Hours/Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Compensation: $20–$21/hour Type: Contract to Hire Overview A leading environmental testing laboratory is seeking a Sample Preparatory Technician to support high-volume operations. Responsibilities Prepare and fulfill client orders by assembling bottles with specified solutions/media Label bottles, kits, and packages accurately for shipment Package and stage materials for delivery to clients Store prepared samples and materials under appropriate temperature‑controlled conditions Log and track incoming and outgoing materials within internal systems Support sample handling, organization, and workflow within the lab Maintain clean, organized workspaces to ensure efficient operations Assist with inventory, stocking supplies, and general lab support tasks Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment Strong attention to detail with the ability to double‑check work for accuracy Basic computer skills (data entry, tracking systems, order entry) Ability to multitask and stay organized throughout the day Background in food service, retail, or other fast‑paced environments is highly transferable Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer Benefits System One offers eligible employees health and welfare benefits coverage options, including medical, dental, vision, spending accounts, life insurance, voluntary plans, and participation in a 401(k) plan. #J-18808-Ljbffr
