Job DescriptionPosition Description: Tax Senior Manager Career Site Location: Akron, OH Category: Accounting/Audit/Tax Essential Functions and Primary Duties:As a Tax Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic tax guidance and leadership within our organization.Lead a team of dedicated professionals, serving as a mentor and trusted advisor, while also fostering a collaborative team environment.Utilize your extensive expertise to drive excellence in client service delivery, ensuring that all tax engagements are executed with precision and efficiency.Act as a subject matter expert, staying abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to provide timely insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.Oversee the development and implementation of tax planning strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, optimizing their tax position and maximizing savings opportunities.Partner with upper management to drive new business development initiatives, actively participating in client meetings, presentations, and proposal development.Manage the full lifecycle of client engagements, from initial scoping and planning through to final delivery, ensuring that all deadlines and quality control standards are consistently met.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and drive operational efficiencies within the tax department.Preferred Qualifications: A Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field is preferred.
