Who We Are The Pink Parlor is a full scope ice cream store selling scoop ice cream. In addition to the tradition cups, cones, milkshakes we have specialty items such as poffertjes, flights, nachos sundaes, and our Pink Parlor extravaganza. We also have a party room with sundae bar for rent for birthdays, gender reveals, and anything in between. We also partner with local businesses to share our event room. What You Will Do Job Profile: The Ice Cream Specialist is responsible for crafting delicious frozen treats and providing exceptional customer service at The Pink Parlor. Overall, as an Ice Cream Specialist you’ll play a key role in creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for our customers while contributing to the success of our ice cream store. Essential Duties 1. Scooping And Serving: Expertly scooping the correct amount of ice cream into cups, cones, sundaes, and specialty items with precision and care. 2. Menu Knowledge: Will have in-depth knowledge of our ice cream flavors, toppings, and menu offerings to assist customers in making informed choices. 3. Custom Creations: Be able to creatively customize ice cream creations based on customer preferences and special requests. 4. Quality Control: Ensuring that all ice cream products meet our high standards of quality, freshness, and presentation. 5. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the serving area, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized at all times to uphold health and safety standards. 6. Customer Interactions: Providing friendly and attentive service to customers, addressing their questions, concerns, and special requests with enthusiasm and professionalism. 7. Upselling: Recommending additional toppings, add-ons or menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. 8. Cash Handling: Processing transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit card payments and maintaining an organized cash registers and balanced drawer. 9. Team Collaboration: Working closely with team members to ensure smooth operations, assist with inventory management, and contribute to a positive work environment. 10. Creativity: Bringing your passion for ice cream to the table by suggesting new flavor combinations, seasonal specials, and promotional ideas to attract and delight customers. Other Duties 1. Social Media Enthusiast must like to create and post social media ads to our Instagram and face book accounts. 2. Depending on your shift, you may be responsible for opening or closing duties. In order to succeed in this position, The Pink Parlor expects you to have outstanding customer service and be outgoing. You will need to be very organized, and detail oriented to be able to make customer orders in a timely fashion based on store protocols. Cleaning iand Inventory is also part of this position. Team work is mandatory!
