Registered Nurse Med Surg (Nights)

Job Summary We are seeking several dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our healthcare team in the Med-Surg/Telemetry department on the 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy, with experience in medical-surgical nursing and dementia care. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care, conducting physical examinations, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and care plans. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with healthcare standards. Qualifications Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical-surgical nursing practices. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols. Proficient in performing physical examinations, gastric lavage, and suturing techniques. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
