HVP Technical Operator-3rd Shift

Manufacturing SupervisorOversee all tasks related to the manufacturing of Liquid HVP product and Spray Drying of Liquids into Powder form. Perform all quality checks on product to ensure it meets customer specifications. Perform all tasks related to Packaging and Sanitation and assist with all HVP operations.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and able to perform all or the duties of the HVP Chemical Operator positionLoad hoppers and reactors with the accurate quantity of raw materialsProduce reactions and transfer product to various holding vesselsFamiliar with and capable of running all equipment related to the drying processCommunicate with packager to achieve desired daily goalsManage liquid intermediates to maximize capacity and achieve quality specificationsManage drying parameters to maximize output and reduce downtimePerform quality analysis and make adjustments to products as neededDocument all production and quality tests requiredTroubleshoot equipment as neededPerform basic maintenance on equipmentSanitation of equipment and environment according to the Master Sanitation ScheduleMust be certified in packaging room to fill in the position as needed (Absences, emergencies, etc.)Conduct liquid filling operationsPick and distribute raw materialsSafe handling of chemicalsPerform Daily GMP Inspections and Pre-Operations paperworkAssist with SSOP and SOP creation for equipmentSkills and RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred3 years of experience in manufacturing, food manufacturing preferredAbility to work rotating shiftsAbility to read and follow instructions, work in a safe manner, troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issuesDemonstrated ability to operate machinery in a high paced environmentUnderstanding and knowledge of measuring unitsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBased on duties, employee may be required to wear a respirator after a Doctor's approval and successful passing of the fit and pulmonary test.Salary range: $22.71 - $34.07. The actual compensation that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors. This role will remain open until filled.
