We represent a confidential defense customer supporting mission-critical national security programs. this is a full-time placement.Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision6 weeks PTOShort-Term Disability401(k) with 5% company matchUp to $8,000 relocation assistance (grossed up)Full benefits package available upon requestThis role is ideal for someone strong in Java or C++, software troubleshooting, integration, testing, and operational support within a structured, configuration-controlled environment.What You’ll Do:Troubleshoot, maintain, and document software applicationsIdentify and isolate sources of system errors or unexpected performance issuesSupport testing, integration, and delivery of new software baselinesAnalyze complex operational systems from an end-to-end perspectiveProvide immediate software solutions to restore service in operational environmentsSupport real-time software applications on an Operations and Maintenance contractRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in STEM Or Master's degree preferred5+ years of professional Software Engineering experienceExperience coding in Java and/or C++Experience in software development and/or software integrationActive and transferable Top Secret Clearance OR TS/SCI with CI Polygraph prefferedU.S. citizenship requiredPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Git, Bitbucket, or similar configuration management toolsLinux/Unix experienceSQL experienceExperience with Jira, Bitbucket, and ConfluenceExperience working in structured, configuration-controlled environmentsO&M contract or real-time software application support experienceClearance RequirementThis position requires an active and transferable DoD TS(Top Secret)/SCI (CI Polygraph preferred).
