Final Assembly - 2nd Shift

This includes reviewing the work order to ensure material availability.Essential Job Responsibilities Not Limited ToReview picking sheetConfirms if pick from stock or make from a jobLocate job and compare with picking sheetReview drawings for part assembly (if available)Gather materials to assemble partsAssemble partsReview picking sheet for special instructionsInspect parts for final assemblySign off on production and picking sheetCompetenciesAbility to work in an environment that produces excellent quality and quantity workAbility to organize and prioritize jobsAbility to communicate – clearly and comprehensivelyWorking Conditions/Physical RequirementsAble to stand for long periods of timeAble to lift, push, and pull 25 pounds unassistedRequirementsMinimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or GEDShop experience in assembly and reading shop printsFamiliar with power tools and hand tools, loc-tite glue, and paper cutterKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesAbility to read and interpret shop drawingsBasic math knowledge which includes the use of measuring toolsWork EnvironmentTypical machine shop environment.Willing and able to work additional hours as neededAt VMC Group we believe in supporting our employees both professionally and personally.
