This role offers the opportunity to deliver intensive, goal-oriented therapy in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.The SLP will evaluate, treat, and monitor patients' communication, cognitive, and swallowing (dysphagia) needs, developing individualized plans of care to improve functional outcomes and prepare patients for safe discharge. Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and effective communication skills are essential.Key Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive SLP evaluations including speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing assessmentsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans under evidence-based guidelinesProvide skilled therapy for patients with neurological, cognitive, and swallowing deficitsEducate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies for communication and safe swallowingMonitor patient progress and communicate updates to the interdisciplinary teamAccurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in EMRCollaborate closely with PT, OT, nursing, and case management to ensure coordinated careMaintain productivity while delivering patient-centered therapyIdeal Candidate:Active SLP license in practicing stateInpatient rehab or acute care experience preferredStrong clinical reasoning and documentation skillsComfortable working in a team-oriented, high-intensity rehabilitation environmentThis is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about neurorehabilitation, enjoys intensive, measurable outcomes, and thrives in a collaborative team setting.Towne U.S. LLC Job ID #18313161.
