ASG Home Care - Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Community-Based SupportsASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide Community-Based Supports to adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the community across New Jersey.What you'll do· Provide 1:1 support out in the community· Assist with community outings: shopping, walks, recreational activities, appointments, and social events· Support safe transportation to and from activities (driving or accompanying on public transportation, as applicable)· Help build independence, social skills, and community participation· Follow the care plan and any behavior/safety plans as trained· Use our app to clock in/out and complete simple service notes· Communicate with the office about any changes, concerns, or incidentsRequirements· At least 18 years old· High school diploma or GED· Able to read, write, and complete documentation in English· Previous DSP/caregiver or community support experience preferred but not required· Reliable transportation; valid driver's license strongly preferred for this role· Willing to complete all required background checks (fingerprinting, CARI, Central Registry)· Willing to complete pre-employment and random drug testing as required· CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain before working independentlySchedule & Pay· Part-time and full-time hours may be available· Mostly afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts depending on the case· Competitive hourly pay based on experience and case needsApply today to join ASG Home Care and help individuals be active, safe, and engaged in their communities.
