Role: Staff Product Engineer (Full-Stack) – AI-Powered Healthcare InfrastructureLocation: San Francisco, CA - Hybrid - 3 days in office Salary: $200k-$280k + Equity About My ClientI'm partnering exclusively with a well-funded, high-growth healthcare AI startup that is transforming how cutting-edge treatments reach patients. Nearly every disease will become treatable in our lifetimes — my client is building the infrastructure to make that happen.Why This RoleAs a Product Engineer, you'll own full-stack features end-to-end — from backend architecture to polished front-end experiences — and help establish the engineering patterns that will scale with the company's rapid growth. This is a high-impact, hands-on role at the heart of the product.What You'll DoDesign, build, and ship full-stack features across the core productCollaborate closely with Product to translate requirements into technical implementationsOwn projects end-to-end: backend services, APIs, data flows, and front-end interfacesEstablish engineering best practices for quality, maintainability, and scalabilityParticipate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-makingDebug, test, and continuously improve systems in a healthcare-critical environmentStay close to customer needs by working alongside PMs and implementation teamsMust-Have Experience6+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack contributionsProficiency with modern web frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar) and backend services (Node.js, Python, Go, or similar)Experience designing and consuming APIs, working with databases, and building secure systemsTrack record of owning projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentStrong communication skills and a product-minded approachNice to HaveExperience at early-stage startups, building product from 0 to 1Background in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industriesFamiliarity with AWS/GCP, CI/CD pipelines, and observability toolsExposure to AI-driven products or agentic systemsIf you are interested in finding out more please apply below and I will be in contact to discuss the position further.
