Job Description:
The Senior Recruiter will play a crucial role in sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent for federal government and commercial contracts. This role involves working closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and developing recruitment strategies that attract qualified candidates, particularly for roles requiring security clearances. The Senior Recruiter will manage the full recruitment lifecycle but will not have direct reports. They will ensure compliance with all federal hiring regulations and provide exemplary candidate experience throughout the hiring process. The position will require occasional travel, as needed, to the Lanham, MD HQ office.
Job Required Skills:
5+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 3 years specializing in recruiting for federal government contractors or agencies
Experience sourcing and recruiting candidates with security clearances (e.g., Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, CI Poly, etc.)
Thorough understanding of federal hiring compliance regulations, including
Proven experience managing the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools
Ability to build and maintain candidate pipelines for technical and security-cleared roles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely while meeting deadlines
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required)
