This role is responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, and related machinery to support excavation, grading, site preparation, and material handling. Day-to-day tasks include safely maneuvering equipment, following site plans and instructions, inspecting equipment before and after use, and reporting any mechanical or safety issues. The Heavy Equipment Operator will work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete tasks according to project timelines and safety standards, maintain clean and organized work areas, and adhere to all company, local, and federal safety regulations.Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Heavy Equipment and Equipment Operation, including excavators, loaders, and similar machinery.Experience with Excavation work and handling Used Equipment in construction environments.Knowledge of Equipment Maintenance practices, including routine inspections and basic troubleshooting.Understanding of construction site safety procedures and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Valid driver’s license; ability to meet any required equipment or vehicle certifications.Previous experience as a heavy equipment operator in construction or related industries preferred.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and to perform physical tasks such as climbing, lifting, and standing for extended periods.Reliable attendance, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
