This is heavy hands-on SQL development work (~70 80% of the role) building complex queries and stored procedures, with automation work supporting a large-scale system integration. The team recently migrated from Oracle to Snowflake, so current Snowflake experience is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesHeavy SQL development (70 80% of role): complex queries and stored procedures (inner/outer joins); high-volume query work (up to ~200 queries to complete a project)Build and maintain stored-procedure-based automation across billing platformsWork from stakeholder requirements: attend meetings, understand requests, partner with BAs, and clearly explain approach and progressFollow the full SDLC: design, code, configure, test, debug, documentParticipate in design and code reviewsOn-call support rotation: ~1x every 5 weeks (after-hours weekdays + weekends)Must-Have SkillsStrong SQL development complex queries and stored proceduresSnowflake database experience (team recently moved from Oracle to Snowflake)Communication skills able to explain work to stakeholders and gather requirementsPlus / Nice-to-Have (not Required Trainable)Billing systems experience (CSG and/or ICOMS)Oracle-to-Snowflake migration experienceTelecom/billing domain background
