Do you enjoy building solid internal and external relationships resulting in growth?Do you enjoy collaborating cross-functionally to deliver on common goals?Editorial DeliveryManage people, priorities, and processes across North America to ensure the timely delivery of online statutory and code updates in line with agreed schedules and quality standardsCoordinate the acquisition, processing and publication of legislative content, following established editorial workflows, tooling and quality checksEnsure work is allocated effectively across teams to maintain throughput, accuracy and coverage commitmentsEscalate risks, delays or quality issues where needed, proposing practical mitigationsPeople Management and Team SupportProvide day-to-day line management for editors and analysts, including workload planning, coaching and regular feedbackOffer guidance and practical support to help team members resolve issues, improve confidence and work consistentlyEncourage a positive, collaborative team culture with a focus on reliability, shared ownership and continuous improvementSupport performance management processes by coaching, providing feedback and performance review, and working with individuals to ensure goals are understood and deliveredOperational ExcellenceMonitor team and individual performance measures such as timeliness, volume and error rates, taking action where standards are at riskEnsuring customer feedback is triaged, prioritised and resolved within agreed SLAsIdentify process improvements within existing frameworks and support the adoption of new tools, automation and practicesProactively work with the team to identify, develop, and implement AI-driven operational efficienciesEnsure team members understand and comply with editorial policies, documentation standards and governance requirementsContribute to audits, reviews and remediation activity as requiredCross-functional CollaborationWork closely with peers, Product, Technology and other GEO editorial teams globally to ensure clear handover of work and shared understanding of requirementsSupport the implementation of changes to workflows, templates or systems agreed at a senior levelAct as a reliable operational point of contact for assigned content areas, feeding back practical insights on delivery challenges and opportunitiesWork closely with other Editorial Managers, North America Legislation, located in the US, Canada and South Africa, to develop cross-functional initiatives, training and collaborationRequired Qualifications and ExperienceExperience in legal editorial work, legal publishing or regulatory content operationsWorking knowledge of US and/or Canadian legislation and editorial conventionsProven experience managing or mentoring editorial contributors in a delivery-focused environmentComfortable working with established workflows, performance measures and quality controlsSkills and CompetenciesStrong organisational and prioritisation skills, with attention to detailPractical, proactive problem-solver with strong evidence of the ability to improve delivery and qualityClear and supportive communicator, able to explain expectations and provide constructive feedbackCollaborative mindset, working effectively with managers, peers and partner teamsConfidence using editorial systems and approved tools; openness to learning automation and efficiency tools as introducedWorking ConditionsFull-time role within Global Editorial OperationsWorks primarily on North America content, collaborating with UK, SA and APAC colleagues as requiredCan be located in US or Canada, home-basedTravel, up to 10% of time, requiredU.S. National Base Pay Range: $86,600 - $144,400.
