6 month Contract-to-HireConversion Salary $130-145K, DOEFully remote MUST be a US Citizen Keys:Full Stack Automation experience is required Prior experience as a full stack SDET or Software Engineer with strong hands-on Java coding skills Must have strong experience creating test steps from scratchMust be in a position making major decisions for the team: changes to automation architecture, code reviews, etc.Strong SQL, IDE, Docker, GitLab skills Able to work on a very process-driven team (NOT ad-hoc)SUMMARY:*Due to government contract requirements, you must be a U.S. Citizen and pass a pre-employment background check*Immediate need for a Full Stack Lead SDET Engineer to drive the automation development and accelerate the testing processes and architecture of an advanced test automation framework, while creating the foundations for automated testing for various microservices. As a SDET, this person should be comfortable with hands on automation at all levels, including API automation using Rest Assured, data validation and test data creation using SQL, performance, and load testing, as well as all levels of interface, integration, and back-end testing, and can start coding right away. Qualifications include: 8+ years of SDET experience, working with automation tools and frameworks, with some exposure to enterprise SaaS productsFull Stack Automation Development & Architecture experience is required Prior experience as a Full Stack SDET or Software Engineer with strong hands-on Java coding skills Must have strong experience creating test steps from scratch (NOT plug-and-play)Code review skills & experienceExcellent understanding of object-oriented programming and design requiredExcellent experience writing & executing automated tests and frameworks using Java, Selenium, Maven, an IDE (such as IntelliJ), along with TestNGAdvanced SQL and database knowledge and the use of such in an automation framework Microservice/API testing experience using Java and Rest Assured (or another comparable library); SOAP APIs Knowledge of DockerExperience with Agile Development Process and Agile “whole team approach” testingAbility to apply advanced understanding of version control (preferably Git)Experience refactoring, scaling, and providing performance improvements to automation frameworks at the enterprise levelExperience writing and maintaining unit tests and integrating them into an automation framework
