Construction Litigation Associate Attorney

Location: Houston TX | Onsite Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Litigation Associate Attorney with 4–6 years of experience to join our growing legal team. This role is primarily focused on litigation matters involving construction and commercial disputes, while also offering exposure to transactional work. The position provides meaningful responsibility, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys committed to professional growth and mentorship.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze legal issues and prepare briefs, motions, and legal memorandaDraft pleadings, contracts, and other legal documentsManage written discovery, document review, and case preparationAttend and handle court appearances, hearings, arbitrations, and mediationsParticipate in depositions, including preparation and defenseSupport settlement negotiations and dispute resolution effortsAssist with transactional matters related to construction and commercial projectsMaintain strong communication with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teamsQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar admission required4–6 years of litigation experience, preferably in construction or commercial lawStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsExperience handling pleadings, motions, discovery, and case managementAbility to manage multiple deadlines and work independentlyExcellent communication, organization, and professional judgmentCompensation & BenefitsCompensation is competitive and based on experience.
