Open Positions:Custodian - $13/hr - PM ShiftFloor Technician -$16/hr (must have experience) - PM ShiftResponsibilitiesClean assigned areas of the university campus, including classrooms, common areas, restrooms, cafeterias, and moreFollow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practicesProvide friendly and kind service to all individuals on campusPerform cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures to maintain floorsPerform floor stripping and extraction projects as assignedAssist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficientlyQualifications Must be at least 18 years oldMust practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniformCommunicate effectively in English and work well in a team environmentPreferred: Custodial experience (cleaning, housekeeping, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician)Physical RequirementsStanding, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shiftPushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shiftMust handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectantsMust be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the jobBenefitsWe offer flexible schedules, excellent training, competitive wages, work-life balance, job satisfaction, and promotion opportunities.
