This role sits at the intersection of finance and engineering—ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, influencing decisions, and improving efficiency in cloud environments.What You’ll DoAnalyze and track cloud spend across AWS and other platformsBuild dashboards and reports to highlight cost trends and usageIdentify savings opportunities (rightsizing, reservations, usage optimization)Partner with engineering and finance to improve forecasting and budgetingEstablish cost governance practices and support chargeback/showback modelsDrive automation of reporting and cost management processesWhat You Bring2+ years of experience in FinOps, cloud cost management, or IT financeStrong understanding of cloud pricing and cost optimization strategiesExperience with tools like AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth, or similarAnalytical mindset with strong Excel or data visualization skillsAbility to work cross-functionally with technical and finance teamsNice to HaveExperience with Python, SQL, or scripting for automationFamiliarity with Tableau, Power BI, or similar toolsExposure to FP&A or financial analysisFinOps certification or knowledge of FinOps best practices
