This is a skilled position working to install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment.Your Day To DayExperience in servicing and troubleshooting belt conveyorsExperience in servicing and troubleshooting chain drives and componentsExperience in setting and aligning motorsExperience with setting and troubleshooting centrifugal pumpsWhat You Bring To The TeamHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience with similar equipmentUAW or AFL/CIO journeyman card or equivalentMust be able to read and understand written instructions, policies and proceduresMust be able to perform basic mathematical functions and operate a calculator.Must be able to read a tape measureMust be able to read temperature and pressure gaugesWillingness to learn new technology and equipment operationPhysically able to perform essential job functions. You will work under the general supervision of the shift supervisor, performing all electrical maintenance on equipment to maximize productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards. The Richmond, IN plant produces high volumes of quality blowing wool insulation for contractors and retail customers.
