Drywall Finisher Technician Summary PatchMaster Kansas City is seeking motivated individuals to join our team of drywall finishing specialists. We are looking to expand our workforce, as our company is growing at a faster pace than expected. We service the entire Kansas City Metro area and may grow out to Lawrence and Topeka in the future so some travel will be needed throughout the metro. The ideal candidate works clean, is personable and presentable, and can follow specific processes. compensation: $25 - $30 per hour dependent on skills and experience. Qualifications and Education Requirements 5+ years of working with drywall finishing texture and techniques and repairs required. Must be willing to and capable of quality painting on projects. Experience in drywall hanging and framing a plus. Valid driver’s license Clean driving record Preferred Skills Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and have great customer service skills. Strong attention to detail, ability to maintain a clean workspace and a positive attitude. Physical strength, stamina and dexterity; ability to lift up to 75lbs; ability to stand for long periods of time. Strong work ethic Desire to learn and improve Time management skills to ensure tasks are completed on schedule without direct supervision Teamwork mindset Duties Apply drywall compound to walls and ceilings Smooth out imperfections and ensure surfaces are ready for painting Match texture as specified by the customer Cut and install drywall sheets according to schematics Perform caulking, sanding, and finishing tasks Paint in clean smooth lines for finishing touches as needed Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week Schedule: Day shift Work Location: On the road
