Enterprise Program Manager

Role OverviewThe Enterprise Program & Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering large-scale, cross-functional programs aligned with organizational strategy. This role ensures governance, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and successful delivery of multiple interdependent projects.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram ManagementLead enterprise-wide programs with multiple projects and stakeholdersDefine program scope, objectives, and success metricsAlign programs with business strategy and organizational goalsManage interdependencies across projectsProject DeliveryPlan, execute, and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resourcesEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budgetImplement Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as requiredGovernance & ReportingEstablish program governance frameworks and standardsTrack KPIs, milestones, and deliverablesProvide regular status reports to leadership and stakeholdersEnsure compliance with organizational policiesStakeholder ManagementCollaborate with senior leadership, business units, and technical teamsManage expectations and resolve conflictsDrive decision-making and accountabilityRisk & Issue ManagementIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks across programsManage escalations and ensure timely resolutionMaintain risk registers and contingency plansFinancial ManagementOversee budgets, forecasting, and cost optimizationTrack financial performance and ROITeam LeadershipLead cross-functional and geographically distributed teamsMentor project managers and team membersFoster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvementRequired Skills & QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related fieldMBA preferred (for senior roles)Experience8–15+ years in project/program managementExperience managing enterprise-scale initiativesProven track record of delivering complex programsCertifications (Preferred)PMP (Project Management Professional)PgMP (Program Management Professional)PRINCE2Agile/Scrum certificationsCore SkillsStrong leadership and communicationStrategic thinking and problem-solvingRisk management and governance expertiseBudgeting and financial acumenProficiency in tools (Jira, MS Project, Asana, etc.)Key CompetenciesDecision-making under ambiguityStakeholder influenceChange managementOrganizational awarenessExecution excellenceNice-to-HaveExperience in digital transformation programsKnowledge of enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, cloud platforms)Exposure to global delivery models
