Compiles data and reports for Surgical ServicesResponsibilitiesInteracts professionally with physicians, patients, families, vendors and coworkers and displays calm, supportive behavior; Patient care activities are coordinated, communicated and delegated to team members appropriately.Schedules all cases into the automated scheduling system in a correct and timely mannerAssist in collecting data and completing reports as needed. Actively participates in department/facility PI activities. Works to ensure the department meets regulatory standardsCollaborate and with Surgical Service management team to coordinate efforts to maintain staff competency.Complete daily charge reconciliation for Surgical Service departmental areas.Performs related duties as required. QualificationsRequired:Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience:1 to 2 years of surgical experienceComputer skills and medical terminology experience required. Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire.Preferred:Experience: Scrub tech experience preferredOrganization DescriptionPiedmont Medical Center (PMC) has served the community of York County and beyond for more than 30 years.
