This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision to drive the successful delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, a passion for technology, and a proven track record of leading development teams.Responsibilities Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Technical Direction: Provide technical direction and guidance on software design, architecture, and implementation, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards. Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring timely and high-quality releases. Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are met. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to define requirements and deliver innovative solutions. Continuous Improvement: Advocate for and implement continuous improvement practices within the engineering team, including process optimization and the adoption of new technologies. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring the robustness and scalability of our software solutions. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, architecture, and development processes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Skills:Strong proficiency in multiple technology stacks and programming languages.Deep understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.Experience with DevOps practices and tools is a plus.Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) is an advantage.Why Join Level Data?
