Professional Engineer
Due to recent promotions, the City of Springfield's Department of Public Works is seeking qualified applicants for three separate Professional Engineers ( with option to underfill as Engineer III, Engineer II, and Engineer I ) in the Traffic Engineering Division, the Transportation Engineering Divison, and the Transportation Management Division.Traffic Engineering DivisionResponsibilities for the Traffic Engineering position will include developing and analyzing planning studies such as traffic impact studies, traffic volume and speed studies, safety studies and crash data analysis, parking studies; designing and managing projects for traffic calming, sidewalks, and intersection improvements; and reviewing development plans for code compliance and access management.
