Senior Legal Assistant

Our client, a global media organization is seeking a Senior Legal Assistant to join its New York legal team. This is a highly visible role with a core focus on corporate governance and administrative support, while also providing broader legal and operational assistance to a team of legal professionals.Responsibilities:Manage corporate secretarial functions including books, records, minutes, consents, and state filingsMonitor corporate compliance and respond to government filings and legal notificationsManage calendars, travel, expenses, and general office administrationPrepare PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and meeting materialsSupport contract management, M&A due diligence, and intercompany agreementsAssist with KYC requests, litigation support, legal research, and document productionReview and coordinate responses to subpoenas, complaints, and lawsuitsManage legal databases, document management systems, and standard formsSupport trademark administration and risk management oversightQualifications:Bachelor's degree required6+ years of legal or high-level professional administrative experience, preferably at a global companyCorporate governance experience required; certification a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Workiva, SharePoint, iManage, and Xflow a plusStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and project management abilityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of integrity and professional ethicsSalary: $85,000 - $100,000Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Flexible Spending and Commuter Programs, Life Insurance, Disability, Tuition Assistance, Employee Assistance Program, Additional Voluntary Benefits.This position requires the ability to perform the essential functions of the role, which may include standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis, with or without reasonable accommodation.
