This role requires strong expertise in reviewing tax returns and accounting work to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality. As a key member of our firm, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality financial services and maintaining our standard of excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesTax Review and PreparationReview individual and business tax returns for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulationsPrepare tax returns as neededStay current with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and up-to-date filingsAccounting ServicesReview bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and financial statementsEnsure accuracy and consistency in financial recordsProvide accounting insights and recommendations to clientsClient InteractionCommunicate with clients to gather required financial informationAddress client inquiries and explain tax and financial matters clearly and professionallyFoster strong client relationships and ensure a smooth engagement processCompliance and ReportingEnsure all work complies with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standardsPrepare and review financial reports for internal and client use in a timely mannerQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of tax experienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required)CPA or EA certification (or in progress) preferredProven experience reviewing tax returns and accounting workStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow firm procedures and policiesPreferred ExperienceFamiliarity with GoSystem, SurePrep, and Practice CS is a plusEmployment TypeFull-time
