Heart Failure Cardiologist

Job Description Our organization is actively looking for a Board Certified Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join our team at St. Francis Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, and other affiliated facilities in Nassau and Suffolk counties. Additionally, St. Francis has received high-performance ratings in four specialties: Geriatrics, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, and Pulmonology.We are in search of an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist with clinical experience in Advanced Heart Failure and Mechanical Circulatory Support. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team that includes four Heart Failure Certified Cardiologists, one LVAD surgeon, two specialized Heart Failure inpatient Nurse Practitioners, four outpatient Nurse Practitioners, and four LVAD Coordinators at St. Francis. Our Heart Failure program is well-regarded for delivering high-quality, comprehensive care and offers Advanced Cardiac Therapies to our community. We achieved Joint Commission Certification for Destination Therapy LVAD care in 2016 and have established a dedicated inpatient service, research division, and office space to manage a wide range of heart failure patients. We aim to expand our Heart Failure services throughout Suffolk County and are looking to build a physician and NP-driven team.Our organization is a fully integrated health system serving the Long Island, NY community. Comprising six hospitals, three long-term care facilities, a Home Care and Hospice agency, and a program for individuals with developmental disabilities, we employ over 17,500 staff members and operate with a budget nearing $3 billion. Our system serves more than three million residents across Suffolk, Nassau, and Eastern Queens Counties in New York.Requirements:Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.Experience with ECMO, short-term mechanical support strategies, cardiomems, and pulmonary hypertension is preferred.Job locations include St. Francis Hospital, DeMatteis Center in Nassau County, Good Samaritan Hospital, and our affiliated hospitals in Nassau and Suffolk.We provide a competitive salary, a vibrant work environment that promotes a healthy work-life balance, and a comprehensive benefits package.Salary Range: $330,000 - $622,365This salary range is a good faith estimate and actual compensation will depend on various factors, including the candidate's education, training, skills, licensure, certification, competencies, and other relevant experience.
