Manufacturing Engineer

Via Seating is looking for an Experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Sparks, NV!! The Manufacturing Engineer provides primary engineering support for all current products, delivering hands on expertise in product, process, and quality engineering across VIA Seating’s manufacturing operations. This role supports all existing products, ensuring engineering changes are implemented effectively and processes are continuously improved. The Manufacturing Engineer works closely with Product Engineering, and Production to ensure production readiness from tools, to process to training applying lean fundamentals and using design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles, and production readiness practices. The position also includes responsibility for CAD and configuration management, development and maintenance of build instructions and standard work, and management of the product configurator, including configuration rules and logic. The Manufacturing Engineer plays a key role on the manufacturing floor, training teams and driving Lean-based process execution to improve efficiency, safety, quality, and cost. This role leads structured problem-solving events, implements corrective actions, and ensures long-term effectiveness of solutions. This Manufacturing Engineering is both a safety-sensitive and in office position which requires strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures. This Position is an in-office position during regular business hours Monday - Friday Salary Range is $80 - $95K to start DOE.
