Food Runner

Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will facilitate smooth food service operations by delivering dishes promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities Deliver prepared food items from the kitchen to tables in a timely and professional manner Assist servers by bussing tables and resetting them for new guests Ensure food safety standards are maintained during handling and delivery Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate order accuracy and timing Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation or setup as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas Handle guest inquiries courteously and provide excellent customer service throughout the dining experience Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy when necessary Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and basic food preparation techniques Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience with banquet service, bussing, or kitchen operations is advantageous Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or dishes safely Customer service-oriented attitude with a professional appearance and demeanor Hospitality or hotel experience, culinary background, or guest services knowledge is beneficial This position is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences through efficient service and teamwork.
