Specialty: Emergency Medicine Looking for ABEM or ABFM w/ 2+ years of experience Coverage Needs: Need ASAP - Ongoing for 6+ months Must be able to cover 5+ shifts per month Shifts: Mon-Wed: 7a-5p, 10a-8p, 3p-1a, 4p-12a, and 8p-7a Thurs - Sun: 7a-5p, 10a-9p, 4p-2a, and 8p-7a Setting: Full-service acute-care regional hospital Handles general trauma and stabilization Severe trauma sent to Rapides Census: 42 ED beds 49.5k annual volume Average 135 ED patients per day 30% EMS 22% ADMITTED PATIENTS Support Staff: NPPA coverage 46 hrs Mon-Fri & 36 hrs Sat-Sun Scribe coverage 10 hrs/day Most specialties on site for backup Procedures: All Standard ER procedures EMR: EPIC Board Certification: Board Certified Required Travel: Hospital will cover Credentialing timeline: Will take 90 days Requirements: Active LA state license Active DEA and CDS in LA or willing to transfer ATLS, ACLS
