Job Title: Robot Programmer / Technician – FanucLocation: Warsaw, INRole OverviewWe are seeking Robot Programmers/Technicians with hands-on Fanuc robotics experience to support integration and commissioning efforts for a high-volume automotive manufacturer in Northern Indiana.This role requires strong hands-on experience with Fanuc robotics, body shop applications, and special means build. The selected candidates will support programming, touch-ups, commissioning, and quality collaboration during pre-commissioning and launch phases.This is a high-impact, floor-support role in an active manufacturing and commissioning environment.Mandatory Skills2–5 years of experience with robot setup, troubleshooting, and/or programmingExperience with Fanuc robotics (SpotTool+ & V9.40 for R30iB Plus controller preferred)Certification-only Fanuc experience is acceptableMust be willing to work onsite in Warsaw, IN – 6 days/week, 12-hour shiftsKey ResponsibilitiesProgramming & OptimizationDevelop, modify, and optimize Fanuc robot programs for body shop applicationsConfigure robot frames, tools, payloads, and TCPsSupport rapid program adjustments during special means buildsCommissioning & Startup SupportPerform robot teaching, touch-ups, and recovery in production and pre-commissioning environmentsSupport robot cell startup and offline system workAssist in commissioning activities under tight timelinesTroubleshooting & Floor SupportTroubleshoot robot alarms, motion issues, and sequence ladder logicCoordinate with Controls teams to validate I/O, interlocks, and handshakingProvide on-floor programming support during peak production periodsQuality & CollaborationWork closely with Quality teams to improve weld quality, part accuracy, and repeatabilitySupport containment actions and fast-turn engineering changesFollow all safety procedures in active manufacturing environmentsRequired Qualifications2–5 years of industrial robotics experienceStrong hands-on Fanuc programming and troubleshootingExperience in automotive body shop environments preferredAbility to work extended shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing settingStrong problem-solving and teamwork skills
