Our team includes 15 attorneys and support staff.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Secretary, based in Los Angeles, CA. The Legal Secretary will be responsible for providing administrative support to attorneys, managing legal documents, overseeing filing and service of litigation documents, trial/hearing and general case management support, scheduling and calendar management, and handling clerical tasks. Duties include preparing, filing and/or serving legal documents; maintaining organized files; scheduling meetings and court dates and maintaining attorney calendars; scheduling depositions and hearings; and assisting with client communications. Attention to detail and confidentiality are critical aspects of this role. While this is true of any law firm, the nature of our practice demands the utmost discretion, professionalism and confidentiality.QualificationsStrong understanding of litigation practices, including at least 3 years as a Legal SecretaryExperience in Litigation SupportExperience in Legal Document Preparation and related administrative tasksProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel) and WordPerfectProficiency with Clio preferredProficiency in Clerical Skills, including record organization and filingEffective Calendar Management skills and the ability to coordinate schedules efficientlyStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasksBachelor's degree or relevant certification in law, legal studies, or office administration is preferredSalary and BenefitsSalary range: $90K-$115K, depending on experience and skill setFurther information available upon inquiry
