Munitions Systems Specialist
*Job Overview*
Are you ready to take on a dynamic and vital role in military operations? As a Munitions Systems Specialist, you will provide ammunition and munitions management support to USARCENT G4 in support of theater-level logistics and operational requirements. This position is contingent upon contract award.
*Duties:*
* Perform ammunition and munitions inventory management, stock control, accountability, and reporting activities.
* Support planning and coordination of munitions distribution throughout the USARCENT/CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
* Monitor and analyze ammunition and munitions inventory, availability, requirements, status, and potential shortfalls.
* Support compliance with applicable DoD and Army requirements governing the accountability, handling, storage, transportation, and management of ammunition and explosives.
* Develop, analyze, and validate ammunition and munitions requirements supporting operational, contingency, exercise, and training needs.
* Analyze historical and current data to support forecasting and future munitions requirements.
* Provide technical guidance and subject-matter expertise regarding ammunition and munitions management processes, systems, and procedures.
* Support training and knowledge transfer related to ammunition management processes and procedures, as required.
* Develop reports, briefings, trackers, assessments, and other munitions-management products supporting logistics planning and command decision-making.
* Coordinate munitions requirements and issues with appropriate USARCENT staff organizations, Army organizations, and logistics stakeholders.
*Requirements:*
* Must have 4–8 years of relevant ammunition, munitions, logistics, or military supply experience preferred.
* Experience with ammunition inventory management, stock control, accountability, or distribution preferred.
* Knowledge of applicable DoD and Army ammunition management, safety, accountability, and logistics requirements preferred.
* Experience supporting ammunition requirements planning, forecasting, and operational logistics preferred.
* Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Pay: From $56,519.35 per year
