CustodianThis position will be responsible for transporting associates to and from work. In addition, during the hours that you are not driving, you are expected to help with any facility maintenance including but not limited to keeping the facility clean, working in the production line as instructed, and following health and safety guidelines. Duties and ResponsibilitiesWhen working as a driver: Ensures compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures. Adheres to all traffic rules and regulations. Must be punctual and stringent about route schedules and make no delays in the pick-up and delivery. Must be prepared to work in any traffic pattern, severe weather, and strict deadlines according to our business needs. Must always be in full uniform provided by the company. Will always provide professional and courteous service to our staff. When working in production: Feeding machinery with sheets, duvets, bathrobes, pillowcases, towels, tablecloths, napkins, mats Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized working station. Ensure the linen being processed belongs to the account assigned. Identify any damaged, dirty, or mixed linen and properly place it in the correct containers. Maintain an average of 85% or above for production based on the IT system in place (Spindle). Must be logged into the IT system in place (Spindle) always while working on the machine. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. When working in janitorial: Responsible for the general cleaning of all production, main office, interior and exterior building areas including parking areas Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming floors Responsible for cleaning all assigned areas as assigned by management Dust walls, ceilings, machines, and equipment as instructed by management Other duties as assigned by management QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. 3 months or more related experience in a commercial laundry or hotel industry. Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing. Have a valid USA driver's license for at least 5 years. Able to pass insurance background. Ability to understand, comprehend and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and product labeling. Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to meet required performance goals and objectives. Ability to work in a team environment and alone. Good communication, both orally and written in English. Must have good attention to detail.
