This role supports the spinoff company, a $2B global leader in water quality solutions, with a $1B division undergoing exciting transformation and growth initiatives.Why This Role?High-impact role supporting a large, complex manufacturing environmentExposure to ERP/system implementation (Oracle) and transformation initiativesOpportunity to step into a fast-moving team with strong visibilityPotential to expand into cost accounting or other internal roles long-termPosition OverviewWe are hiring a Senior Accountant consultant to backfill recent departures and support ongoing operations during a period of organizational change and system implementation.This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is:Motivated, coachable, and eager to growComfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environmentWilling to both follow processes and challenge themKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post manual journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracyPerform intercompany reconciliations across entitiesPartner with AP/AR teams to reconcile transactions and resolve discrepanciesSupport fixed asset accounting, including tracking and reportingManage and reconcile expense reporting (Concur)Assist with freight and cost-related calculations in a manufacturing settingParticipate in month-end close and variance analysisSupport ERP/system implementation and testing (Oracle or similar)Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficienciesQualifications5+ years of accounting experience (Senior Accountant level)Manufacturing or cost accounting experience REQUIREDStrong understanding of:Intercompany accountingAP/AR workflows and reconciliationsFixed assets and general ledger processesAbility to confidently navigate core accounting fundamentals (e.g., debits/credits)Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred, but not required)Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsWhat We’re Looking ForPositive, “no ego” team player with a strong work ethicSomeone who is coachable, adaptable, and solutions-orientedAbility to work cross-functionally and communicate effectivelyComfortable in a hybrid environment (local candidates preferred)
